What is Machine Learning? A Simple Introduction to ML

Machine learning (ML) is a subset of ‘Artificial Intelligence’ (AI) that enables machines to learn from data and improve their performance over time without being explicitly programmed. In other words, ML algorithms can learn from patterns and insights in data and use that knowledge to make predictions or decisions about new data.

There are many types of machine learning algorithms, such as supervised learning, unsupervised learning, and reinforcement learning. Applications of machine learning are found in many industries, including healthcare, finance, marketing, and more. With the increasing availability of big data and the continued development of ML techniques, the potential applications of machine learning are vast and constantly expanding.
