You have the option to choose with or without frame. Its totally up to you which you choose. I personally found that I like the canvas on the frame, as it made it easier to paint, but you can buy unframed and put the canvas on the frame yourself before you start.

What colour you choose to start with is totally up to you, I prefer to start from dark to light, or I paint in the larger areas first.
Remember to clean your brushes and close the lids of your paints to avoid drying after each use. Each kit contains enough paint for that painting only, so you need to ensure you do not dry them out.
